Money buys happiness?

It is an agreed point that at the end, money is responsible to a greater extent to inculcate the sense of anxiety within any person because they want and the desire to earn more money surely does not end when any person attains a certain level of incurring the same. However, also, this does not directly mean that money can be used to buy happiness.

This is one thought which is responsible for not only fascinating the people to a greater extent but also for sectioning and dividing the people on the basis of their perception on this point. Money is a necessity for some whereas it is a luxury for some. Therefore, the definition of money as well as its happiness purchasing power depends on and varies from one individual to the other.

Now let us take the examples of 3 individuals who can be placed and categorized in different genres depending on their level of income as well as their purchasing power.

The Rich Millionaire

The first example to be stated here is of a rich person who earns very well through his business. The money making process is quite easy for him because of his well-running business. He is able to earn well, and because of this, he can afford all the luxuries apart from the basic amenities of life. Apart from his financial status, neither does he know how to spend the money correctly nor is he completely satisfied because of some of his family reasons. This non-satisfaction is costing him his internal peace of the mind and body. Besides having ample amount of money, he is not able to lead a happy life. So, in this case, money is not able to buy the person happiness of all times.

The Middle Income Individual

Any person who is not exceedingly well in the monetary purposes in the sense that he has a job for which he is paid quite well comes under this category. He is able to afford all the basic amenities of life as well as fulfill other of his major aspirations and dreams. Also, he is very happy with whatever he earns and adjusts according to the same. He also has a good family atmosphere. The members too live happily and lead a life with no complaints. Here, besides having less amount of money, he is able with his life and lifestyle.

The below poverty line people

The life of the people living below the poverty line is hard because of the non-availability of the steady job for the income. However, some people who learn to adjust to the circumstances and find happiness in the same are the ones who lead a good life. They do not experience something extraordinary as they cannot even afford it. They find happiness just with the basic life amenities. However, the problems occur when these people are exploited. This exploitation not only costs them their unsteady income but also their peace and happiness.

Value Your Money

Money is able to buy you the happiness you desire for if you spend it correctly as well as you value money as a commodity or necessity and not as a sense of pride. This is able to set you apart from the common crowd of people or may not or ironically may fall into the same monetary category as the one in which you belong to. Another dimension to it is that satisfaction and happiness do not matter at all if it does not come from within the individual. Therefore, the concept of money and happiness go hand in hand.

You should value your money. Money has the power to make as well as break an individual. Savings of your hard earned money are good for your happy feelings whereas if you are under debts and have loans to pay off, they can surely cost you your happiness. It is always beneficial and recommended to one and all that you should first get rid of the debt and the loan payments which are outstanding. You may then proceed to think of building any kind of interest and investment which shall be fruitful to you in the future. This is because if you put your money in the investments first, you will not be able to pay off your debts which will create a feeling of tension.

You will not find peace and happiness in anything you do. Moreover, anything which costs you your internal peace and happiness is too expensive. Hence, you should always focus on having things which are basic and then further invest in the add-ons.
